About
The internet is full of dreadful websites. Our goal is to reduce their number.
A good website used to be a privilege of the few. Technology has moved on far enough that anyone can have one now, without cutting corners on quality.
A website does not need complicated technology to be capable and well made. The pages are stored as ready made files, so showing them needs no database and no plugins. Simple technology has in our view always been the better option, but maintaining it has been laborious.
AI agents have changed that. They know the basic web technologies well, so the old way of making websites has become the easiest one again. Kotisivukamu is built around that idea.
It matters to us that the customer owns their own site. The site is an ordinary project that can be taken elsewhere if they wish. We believe we can add value without having to lock the customer into our platform.
We add value by handling visitor analytics, forms, domains, search and AI visibility and the like. Because each site does not need a server of its own, we can offer sites at a low price.
Company
The service is provided by Kontakto Oy, business ID 2831767-5. Support answers at tuki@kotisivukamu.fi. The same small team that develops the service also builds and maintains the sites, so feedback reaches the people who can act on it.
We are open about what is collected from the sites and what is not. Visitor analytics work without cookies, and no persistent identifier is formed for a visitor. Read more about visitor analytics.
