TableOnline on a Kotisivukamu site
TableOnline is a table booking system widely used by Finnish restaurants, with hundreds of restaurants from Finland and Estonia on board. Each restaurant has its own booking page where the guest picks the day, the time and the party size.
How it works on Kotisivukamu
We recommend adding TableOnline to the site as a button. The Book a table button opens the TableOnline booking page in a new tab, and bookings show in the restaurant’s booking book as before. The booking page can also be embedded on the site, but the experience is usually better when the guest books directly on TableOnline’s own page. There can be several buttons, for example in the header, on the front page and next to the menu.
The booking address ends in an identifier of about seven characters that is case sensitive. So it is worth copying the address from the browser rather than typing it.
Step by step
- Open your restaurant’s booking page in TableOnline and copy the address from the browser’s address bar. It looks like v2.tableonline.fi/instabook/bookings/identifier.
- Give the address to Kamu and say where you want the Book a table button.
- Check the preview on a phone: the button should be visible without scrolling and open the right restaurant.
- Add the same address as the booking link in your Google Business Profile too.

What does TableOnline cost?
TableOnline does not publish a price; it is agreed with the vendor. It is not part of the Kotisivukamu price. Adding the button is an ordinary change with no separate charge.
Why does the booking page not open although the address looks right?
The most common cause is the wrong letter case in the identifier. Copy the address again straight from the browser and give it to Kamu.
Does booking show on Google?
The table booking systems most common in Finland are not Reserve with Google partners, so it is worth adding the booking link to the business profile yourself.
Can the booking calendar be embedded in the page?
