HubSpot on a Kotisivukamu site
HubSpot is a CRM and marketing system. It keeps track of contacts, companies and deals, and many businesses want enquiries from their website to land there directly.
How it works on Kotisivukamu
The site’s form stays a Kotisivukamu form. Every message shows in the dashboard and reaches your email as before, and it is also passed on. It carries the form fields, such as name, email, phone and message, plus which page and which form it came from.
Messages go to HubSpot through a relay service, for example Zapier, Make or n8n. The relay service delivers the message to HubSpot in the right format and creates or updates the contact. Your HubSpot credentials are given only to the relay service and never appear on the site. Before you start, it is worth deciding which HubSpot fields the form details belong in and who handles new contacts.
Step by step
- Create a new workflow in the relay service that receives messages, and copy the address it gives you.
- Add the address in the dashboard as the form’s forwarding target, or ask Kamu to do it.
- Send a test message with the site’s form so the relay service can see the fields.
- Add a HubSpot step to the workflow that creates a contact, and choose which fields name, email and message go to.

HubSpot: frequently asked questions
Can HubSpot’s own form be embedded in the page?
It is possible, but then the messages are not saved in the Kotisivukamu dashboard and notifications do not come through it. HubSpot’s form may also need cookie consent. So we recommend passing on the site’s own form messages.
Is the message lost if HubSpot or Zapier does not answer?
No. The message is kept in the dashboard, and the forwarding is retried. The delivery status shows in the dashboard.
Does the HubSpot connection cost anything?
The forwarding is part of Kotisivukamu. HubSpot and the relay service bill according to their own price lists, which are worth checking on their own pages.
