KamuCommerce on a Kotisivukamu site
KamuCommerce is Kotisivukamu’s own online shop extension. It makes products, a cart and checkout part of the site, with the same look as the rest of the site, so no separate e-commerce platform is needed.
How it works on Kotisivukamu
Products show on the site, and the customer adds them to a cart and pays at checkout. At checkout the products are reserved for the customer for 15 minutes, so the same item is not sold twice. Payments are made by card through Stripe straight to your business’s own Stripe account, or alternatively by bank transfer.
Every order automatically gets an invoice with a reference number, and the paid invoice serves as the receipt. Second-hand goods can be sold under the margin scheme and new goods with standard VAT. The shipping fee can be set as a flat fee, with a threshold above which orders ship free. Products, stock and orders are managed in KamuCommerce’s admin.

How can customers pay?
By card through Stripe, with the money going straight to your business’s Stripe account, or by bank transfer using the invoice’s reference number.
Can KamuCommerce sell second-hand goods?
Yes. Second-hand goods can be sold under the margin scheme, and a one-off item is simply a product with one in stock.
What if I have thousands of products?

Can I sell a few products without a shop?
Yes. For single products or gift cards a payment link is often enough, for example Stripe Payment Links, whose button opens the checkout page in a new tab.
