How it works on Kotisivukamu
In Shopify’s Buy Button channel you create a buy button for a product or collection, and it is added to the page. The page shows a product card with a picture, price and buy button. The cart and checkout run in Shopify, so payments, shipping and order confirmations are handled there. Kotisivukamu never handles orders or payments.
Because the data comes from Shopify, a change in price or stock shows on the page without republishing the site. The buy button works on a phone too, but it slows the page down a little. If there are many products, a link to the Shopify shop may be clearer than many buy buttons.
Step by step
- Turn on the Buy Button sales channel in Shopify.
- Create a buy button for a product or collection, choose the look and copy the embed code.
- Give the embed code to Kamu and say which page and which spot the product goes in.
- Check in the preview on a phone that the product shows and the checkout opens, then publish.
