Make on a Kotisivukamu site
Make, formerly Integromat, is an automation service where data flows are built as visual scenarios. It has modules for hundreds of services, and a scenario can branch, filter and reshape data before passing it on.
How it works on Kotisivukamu
A message from the site’s form shows in the dashboard as before, and it is also passed to Make. It carries the form fields, which form it came from and the page it was sent from. Make recognises the fields from the first test message, after which they can be used in the scenario’s later steps.
Make works as a relay service that takes messages to a CRM or another service in the right format. Because the form name travels with the message, one scenario can handle several forms: quote requests to the CRM, job applications to a spreadsheet. If a delivery fails, it is retried. Before you start, it is worth listing the site’s forms and deciding where each one’s messages belong.
Step by step
- Create a new scenario in Make and choose Make’s own receiving module as the first one; it gives the scenario an address. Copy the address.
- Add the address in the dashboard as the form’s forwarding target, for all forms or one, or ask Kamu to do it.
- Send a test message with the site’s form while Make is waiting for one, so it recognises the fields.
- Add the modules that pass the data on, and turn the scenario on.

Make: frequently asked questions
What does Make cost?
Make prices by usage, and the free tier has limits. Check the current prices and limits on Make’s own pages.
Make or Zapier?
Both work the same way with Kotisivukamu. Make suits flows that branch or reshape data, Zapier straight transfers from one service to another. It is worth picking the one you already use.
Is the message lost if the scenario is switched off?
No. The message is always kept in the Kotisivukamu dashboard, and a failed delivery is retried. The delivery status shows in the dashboard, so you can spot outages there.
