A Google Business Profile is a business’s information card in Google Search and Maps: address, opening hours, phone number, photos and reviews. In local searches such as "hair salon Turku" it often shows before the regular results.

The profile and the site support each other. The site’s address goes into the profile, and the site can link to the profile where the reviews are shown. The most important thing is that the details are the same in both: name, address, phone number and opening hours. Conflicting details confuse customers and weaken Google’s trust in the information.
On the site, the contact details and opening hours live in one place, the site’s business details. The footer, the contact page and the background data for search engines all show them from that one source, so a change is made once. In the profile, you make the change yourself on Google’s side. Kotisivukamu does not edit the profile for you.
Step by step
- Sign in to your Business Profile and add your site’s address in the website field.
- Compare the profile’s name, address, phone number and opening hours with the site. Ask Kamu to correct the site, or correct the profile.
- Copy the profile’s share link and ask Kamu to add it to the site, for example to the contact details.
- Update holiday hours in both the profile and the site.

Can Kamu update my Business Profile?
